Jamie Urborg is a San Francisco-based artist and owner of small illustration business, SF Neighbors. Her work is inspired by the beautiful, distinctive details of homes, the charm of special neighborhoods, and hidden gems that make up the heart and soul of the city.
Jamie embarked on her fine-line, hand-drawn illustration journey in June of 2020 – finding it to be both an incredible creative outlet and a return to her artistic roots.
Her work explores the fundamental magic of home and belonging. Far beyond the physicality of space, of a house or a brick and mortar – each illustration captures the essence, warmth, and memories that are woven deeply to its core. She is continually captivated by the intricate details that tell a unique story of each house, apartment building, neighborhood coffee shop, or an iconic landmark.
For over four years, she has created custom home and shop illustrations for clients throughout the city and Bay Area. Her intricate illustrations are also featured in a variety of SF art shows, cafes, and local shops.
